The material as a new form
Folded is the first project we developed for Nanimarquina. It consists of a collection of three pieces that suggest the image of a folded rug, a gesture that transforms a common object into a three-dimensional piece.
This symbolic folding not only brings the material closer to sculptural language but also allows us to explore forms and volumes.
The concept began with placing the fabric at the center, making it the focal point. We knew that, with the material’s intrinsic value, we could capture the essence of Nanimarquina.
The result is an ergonomic piece that adds a new dimension to the space.
