A gesture that accompanies and connects
The Mate chair, like the Lore chair, adapts to modern times, where workspaces, homes, and other environments blend together, as do their functions.
We focused on the ability to combine the shell with various bases and finishes so that the chair could be tailored to each specific need.
Enea wanted a plastic chair, so we took advantage of the material’s properties to create a continuous and dynamic outline. We designed a surface that could bend and stretch to achieve good ergonomics in a single piece. Our goal was to make it pleasing both to the eye and to the touch.

Relectura en clau contemporània de la tradicional cadira de boga. Homenatge a la tipologia amb la qual Vergés va començar la seva trajectòria en la dècada dels anys 70.

It is a social chair, designed to be used in groups. In fact, a special base was developed to allow for high stackability and linking, making it suitable for collective use.
The result: a reminiscence of the classic plastic chair—proportionate, fluid, and ergonomic—featuring an innovative system that allows it to adapt to the demands of modern spaces.
